Position

Righthand and sparring partner to the CPO in structuring and scaling the global HR function

  • As strategic and hands-on Group HRIS & Process Owner, you lead the implementation and optimization of the global HRIS. In this pivotal role, you will drive the design and governance of core HR processes – such as performance management, compensation cycles, and organizational structure - across the international footprint (BE, NL, CR, CAN, US).
  • You will also lead broader HR transformation projects focused on process excellence, data integrity, and scalable operations. This is your chance to build the HR backbone of a fast-growing global company.
  • In this role you will own and roll out EMPWR’s global HRIS (from selection to go-live and beyond), you will standardize and govern key HR processes across countries, you will deliver accurate HR data, dashboards, and insights to leadership, you will drive cross-border HR projects and you will support and train local HR teams to ensure adoption and alignment.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or any related field. More importantly, you hold at least 5 years of experience in HRIS and/or HR process ownership, ideally in an international and decentralized organization.
  • Your strong leadership skills enable you to coordinate and lead transformation and digitization processes. You are a strong change manager and are culturally sensitive to maximize adoption across countries.
  • You have a strong process mindset and have an eye for data quality.
  • You are passionate and experienced in building scalable HR infrastructure.
  • You have strong knowledge of HR core processes (performance, compensation, organization management, data governance).
  • You are experienced with system implementation and vendor coordination.
  • You are internationally mobile and flexible: willing to travel to various plants in Europe and the US to build relationships and manage projects.
  • You are fluent in English and you are preferably based in Europe (Ghent HQ).
