Inter Holding Services SA, based in Waterloo, is looking for a skilled and motivated Technical IT Security Manager.
As Technical IT Security Manager you maintain and evolve the (technical) security infrastructure and controls, you oversee operational topics and incident management, and you manage relevant security governance tasks. You hold a critical role in translating group-wide IT security projects into practice and align security measures with business risks and compliance standards.
The Technical IT Security Manager is part of the IT team, works closely with the external SOC provider and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and reports to the Group Head of IT.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure and enhance the resilience of the IT security infrastructure by implementing and managing advanced security measures and controls. You regularly review and update these to adapt to emerging threats and protect sensitive data and systems.
- Lead incident response efforts in collaboration with the IT team. You manage the external SOC (Security Operations Center) service provider and respond to alerts. Additionally you perform root cause analysis implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct thorough security assessments such as vulnerability scans to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with the security policies and standards in place.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, and incident response plans.
- Work closely with the CISO to align technical security measures with overall security strategy and program. You provide technical insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Stay ahead of security trends, threats, and technologies. You participate in continuous learning and professional development to maintain expertise in the field.
Profile
- You have a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a technical security role in combination with exposure to IT infrastructure and business application environments.
- Preferably you performed studies within the Information Security domain or a related field with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- You are an expert in cloud security and related technologies, security architecture and design.
- You have an excellent understanding of information security controls, industry best practices and strategies.
- You are experienced with common information security and IT management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, NIST, CIS, and COBIT frameworks.
- You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additionally you have strong problem-solving skills and pay attention to detail. You work in an autonomous and proactive way.
- You are able to manage multiple tasks, resources and projects simultaneously under strict timelines. You work well in a demanding, dynamic environments and meet overall objectives.
